Every Day Cleaning Tips

Clean a washing machine: Use the specially designed washer cleaner cycle on the newer models, or add a specialty cleaning detergent and run a normal cycle with hot water. Clean the powder container by using sponge, if mouldy use bleach to get rid of the mould. Wipe the rubber of the machine with clean cloth. At the end wipe the glass.

Clean bath tub: Deep clean your bath tub, put rubber gloves on, apply bleach and rub it with a sponge Leave it to soak up for 10-15 minutes, then rinse with cold water. Absorb the water streaks with clean cloth or paper towel- it’s done.

Sprain clean your vacuum: Replace old bag with new, also if the filter looks dirty or torn,  replace it. Dissemble vacuum if easy, clean and wipe the removable parts. Wipe the exterior of the vacuum as well.

Every 4 Months Cleaning Tips

It’s easy to forget about these chores, but they are important too!

Wash pillows: Place the pillows in the washer and launder two at a time in warm water on a mild cycle. Add an extra cold water, then rinse and spin cycle. Then tumble dry very low heat with a few dry rubber balls.

Degrease oven: Use a professional oven cleaner bought from retail store it will do the job fine. Firstly, wipe loose particles, bits of food with a damp sponge. Follow with the self-cleaning function if your oven has one to eliminate burnt-on grime. Apply oven cleaning detergent on racks, wash and scrub your them in the sink with warm, sudsy water and a heavy-duty scrub sponge and scourer.

Clean carpets: Carpet cleaning manufacturers recommend carpet to be cleaned at least twice a year. Hiring a carpet cleaning machine is an alternative but we recommend in this scenario to book professional carpet cleaner. Don’t forget to ask the cleaner to deodorise the carpets at the end.

Tips for Cleaning Every Year

Consider this your couple of minutes refresher on deep cleaning.

Deep clean all floors: clean wooden, tiled floors with vacuum. If there is a lot of marks and grime from shoes, use a floor cleaning product to eliminate the marks. It might need use a green pad, try gently to press the pad and scrub, do not rub hard on the floor as it may damage it.

Deep clean windows: Cleaning windows and windows sills, internally and externally is fine idea. Make certain doing it in a dry, cloudy day with no wind to prevent streaks. Remove dirt and dust first.
