  • 1. Scrape off excessive amount of gel.

  • 2. Dredge sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) over the stained area. Let it sit 15 to 20 minutes, and then vacuum clean promptly. For absorbent you can also use a corn-starch.

  • 4. Continuously sponge until the solvent is fully absorbed.

  • 5. If the stain does appear once again, dilute half tablespoon of liquid hand dishwashing detergent and half tablespoon of white vinegar with one cup of lukewarm water. Blot the stain with this homemade stain remover. Sponge until the solution is fully soaked up.

  • 6. Rinse by sponge with cold water and blot fully dry to eliminate the detergent cleaning solution. It should be done, but it depends indeed on how clean is your carpet at home.
