  • 1. Scrape off excessive amount of gel.

  • 2. Dredge sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) over the stained area. Let it sit 15 to 20 minutes, and then vacuum clean promptly. For absorbent you can also use a corn-starch.

  • 3. Take a clean white microfibre cloth, use it to sponge over the stain with a dry-cleaning solvent.

  • 4. Continue blotting until the solvent is absorbed.

  • 5. Repeat last couple of steps until the stain does not appear anymore.


Delicate Fabric

  • 2. Pre-treat is require, you can do this with a prewash stain remover detergent.

  • 3. Rinse and launder the area by using hot water, must be acceptable and safe for the fabric upholstery.

  • 4. Continuously sponge until the solvent is fully absorbed.

  • 5. If the stain does appear once again, dilute half tablespoon of liquid hand dishwashing detergent and half tablespoon of white vinegar with one cup of lukewarm water. Blot the stain with this homemade stain remover. Sponge until the solution is fully soaked up.

  • 6. Rinse by sponge with cold water and blot fully dry to eliminate the detergent cleaning solution. It should be done, but it depends indeed on how clean is your carpet at home.


  • 1. Abrade the excess hair gel.

  • 2. Sprinkle baking soda over the stain. Let it soak up for around 20 minutes.

  • 3. Deploy a clean white microfiber cloth, sponge the affected area and preliminary the stain.

  • 4. Blot until the solvent is absorbed.

  • 5. If stain is visible make a mix of a tablespoon mild washing up liquid and a tablespoon of white vinegar and 2 cups of hot water. Blot the stained area. Do it until the detergent is absorbed.

  • Rinse with cold water by blotting and dry out the stain.
